Police investigating after woman found stabbed in former Sam’s Club parking lot
The Fall River Police Department is looking into an incident where a woman was found stabbed Thursday.
At approximately 8:47 p.m., a call came into dispatch concerning a female sitting in a vehicle with blood on her face at the former Sam’s Club parking lot at 941 Grinnell Street. The caller stated that the female may have a displaced eyeball.
Upon arrival, Fall River Police discovered that the victim had serious facial injuries which indeed included the eyeball injury.
The female was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
According to Captain Jay Huard, a 25-year-old female sustained the injuries as a result of being stabbed.
As of this morning, the victim was in stable condition.
Huard stated that the incident is still under investigation.
