Police investigating after 1-year-old Rhode Island child dies
Police are investigating after a toddler died in Rhode Island on Thursday afternoon.
According to Coventry Police, at just after 3:45 p.m., Officers of the Coventry Police along with Coventry Fire Personnel responded to Eisenhower Street for a 1-year-old child not breathing.
The child was transported to Kent Co Hospital, where the child was later pronounced deceased.
The circumstances are being actively investigated by the Coventry Police and DCYF and the Attorney General’s Office.
