Police in Massachusetts investigating after delivered phones stolen immediately from outside homes, one dressed as Amazon driver
Hingham, MA – Two recent incidents in which delivered phones were stolen immediately from outside homes are under investigation. These incidents, one in May and one July, are different from other package theft incidents because they involve iPhone deliveries in which the packages were stolen right away upon being delivered. In one incident the suspect was dressed as an Amazon driver.
In the May 30, 2024, theft from a Bel Air Road home, the iPhone and Air Pods were delivered by FedEx. About 10 seconds after the FedEx truck drove away, an SUV stopped at the house. Two men in the SUV and were wearing blue Amazon vests. At one point both men got out of the SUV. One man carried an empty box to the front porch and stole the two delivered boxes. He put the empty cardboard box he was carrying in their place. The SUV was a dark colored Jeep Patriot with dark colored rims. The man who stole the packages was black, wearing an orange tee shirt, grey pants, wearing Crocs with the blue Amazon delivery vest over his tee shirt.
In the July 3, 2024, theft from a Daley Road home, 5 iPhones were delivered to the house by FedEx and stolen minutes later from the front steps. Police do not have a descriptions of the suspect(s) and vehicle at this time.
These incidents remain under investigation. If you are having a new phone delivered to your home, police suggest you request it as “signature required” or chose to have it delivered directly to the store so you could then pick it up in person. I had my new iPhone stolen directly from FedEx warehouse. Had to wait 5 weeks to get a replacement until the investigation was completed.

Let’s thank our Governor Maura Healy for partnering up with Mr. Forgetfull Joe Biden and letting all these migrants into our state!!!.
