Some drivers on a local highway got a big surprise over the weekend.
According to scanner transmissions, just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, on Route 79 North prior to Route 24, Massachusetts State Police responded to a naked man jogging in the middle of the highway not far from the Fall River and Freetown line.
Just after 6:30 p.m., dispatch reported that the man was calm but bleeding from his knees and his feet.

The individual was described as a younger, thin, white, man.
According to Trooper Brandon Doherty, FRFD & EMS arrived on scene and the man was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
No word yet from Massachusetts State Police on the condition of the jogger and why he was in the middle of the road.
