Police arrest suspect in Rockland Trust Bank, Santander Bank, other robberies
A local man has been arrested and charged in a string of bank robberies that took place this summer.
Police announced today that on Thursday, October 27th, members of the Rhode Island State Police and HIDA task force arrested Sean Sullivan of Providence, RI.
Sullivan was arrested in connection to an unarmed robbery of the Santander Bank located at the Lincoln, RI branch.
A subsequent search warrant was executed on Sullivan’s apartment. Evidence seized as a result of that search directly connected Sullivan to several other bank robberies in multiple jurisdictions.
Detectives conducted additional interviews and as a result, Sean Sullivan has also been charged with the unarmed robbery of the Rockland Trust Bank on July 7th and the Santander Bank on August 5th in Seekonk.
