Police and school officials in Massachusetts investigating after student found in possession of alleged “hit list”
Police and school officials in Massachusetts made what is believed to be a disturbing find.
According to police, Sharon High School administrators and staff notified Sharon Police Friday regarding a student alleged to be in possession of a “hit list.” Prompt communication between students, parents, school personnel, and the police allowed authorities to intervene before the situation could become any more serious.
The involved student is a juvenile, so very limited information was made public. The student is safe, police say, and there is no ongoing threat to the persons on the list or anyone else.
All those parties on the list have been contacted.
“Open communication between parents, the schools, and the police, is fundamental to keeping Sharon a safe place to live,” Police Chief Stephen Coffey said. “I am thankful to the school department for their partnership, and to Sharon Police School Resource Officer John Marsinelli, who worked with school administration to assure the safety of all involved.”
According to CBS News, the hit list was inspired by a TikTok challenge.
The incident remains under an active investigation, and police stated that no additional information is expected to be released by the Sharon Police Department during the weekend.

I believe the police should do what the Braintree police do . The Braintree police have a station in the Braintree high school with an officer on duty , that helps keep the kids safe .
