Plymouth and Fall River men indicted in Superior Court after crash that killed 29-year-old woman

Plymouth and Fall River men allegedly involved in a Massachusetts highway crash that turned fatal were indicted this week in Superior Court.
According to Tim McGuirk of Massachusetts State Police, on August 30th, at approximately 10:30 p.m., State Police from the Bourne Barracks and Plymouth Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a 3-car crash on Route 3 South in Plymouth at mile marker 5.8.
Responding Troopers discovered a woman in her late 20s on scene who had been ejected from a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 30-year-old Anthony Bradley of Plymouth. EMS transported the woman to a nearby location where she could be med flighted to a Boston hospital. The woman died as a result of her injuries in the Boston hospital.
Bradley sustained serious injuries that required hospitalization at Beth Israel Plymouth. He was also med flighted to a Boston hospital for additional care.
Massachusetts State Police stated that preliminary information from witnesses indicated that Bradley may have been racing another vehicle at the time of the crash. As he traveled at a high rate of speed in the breakdown lane, witnesses indicated Bradley’s Jeep struck a Mini Cooper in the right travel lane that he was passing on his left side. The Jeep rolled over as a result of the crash, struck a third vehicle while crossing the highway, and came to rest straddling the left passing lane and the median.
The driver of a third vehicle, a Dodge Charger allegedly involved in the incident, turned himself in to authorities on August 31st.
According to the Plymouth Independent, Bradley and 19-year-old Chevelle Borden of Fall River were indicted this week in Plymouth Superior Court.
Borden was allegedly the driver of the third vehicle involved and was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He reportedly witnessed the crash and told investigators he sped up to keep pace with the white Jeep, braking when he saw traffic ahead of him.
Bradley was indicted on manslaughter while OUI, motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, OUI, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Bradley was released on personal recognizance after his previous arraignment in Plymouth District Court.
Bradley’s next scheduled court appearance is an arraignment on June 3rd.
