Person seriously injured in fall on Route 24 Tuesday
A person has been seriously injured in a fall on Route 24 Tuesday.
According to the Tiverton Fire Department, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Tiverton Fire and Tiverton Police were dispatched to the Route 24 on ramp from Main Road.
There was a report of a person falling down the rock face, according to officials.
Companies arrived and extricated, stabilized, and transported the patient to Rhode Island Hospital.
The unnamed victim was reported to have serious injuries.
