UPDATE: Victim’s name released in fatal pedestrian crash in Freetown Tuesday
Authorities are investigating after a person was killed early this morning.
Freetown Police and Fire received a call at approximately 12:42 a.m. for a pedestrian versus vehicle crash.
Witnesses reported a man in the middle of the road in the area of 127 County Road with no pulse.
CPR was performed, but the man died of his injuries.
Multiple agencies and outlets report that 35-year-old Christopher Pennenga of Freetown was the victim in the crash.
The area was closed down for some time.
