Over 45,000 Massachusetts residents no longer in quarantine as city/town numbers released, cases pass 94,000
Today, Massachusetts saw a continued decrease in COVID-19 deaths and hospitalizations.
Massachusetts has seen 527 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 94,220 with 74 more reported dead for a total of 6,547.
Massachusetts had seen 442 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
6,663 tests were performed, over 1,700 more than the total released yesterday, to increase the overall total to 552,144.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 14 of the last 15 days and deaths have continued to decline overall.

• Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 46,354
• Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 13,211
According to the CDC, as of May 27th, the total amount of cases in the country is 1,678,843 with 99,031 dead.
Tuesday in the COVID-19 update news conference, Governor Charlie Baker stated that we are past the surge of coronavirus cases.
