Over 1,000 pieces of stolen Massachusetts mail recovered after the arrest of New York, Massachusetts men
The recovery of over 1,000 stolen pieces of mail in Massachusetts has led to the arrests of two men after a pursuit.
According to police, in the early morning hours, Newton Police received information that Wellesley PD was in pursuit of a vehicle involved in a mail theft in their city. Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, an NPD officer observed the suspect vehicle on Route 9 in Newton and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Hammond Pond Parkway. During the motor vehicle stop, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed towards Brookline.
A short time later, the same NPD officer located the suspect vehicle crashed on Newton Street in Brookline.
After a short foot pursuit and investigation, two adult males were placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property and Failure to Stop for Police.
Over a thousand pieces of stolen mail were recovered.
The two suspects, Yasser Teixeira Mendonca of New York and Dahshein Karon Perry of Massachusetts were arraigned in Newton District Court today.

Yasser Teixeira Mendonca of New York and Dahshein Karon Perry of Massachusetts…these two waste of human flesh deserve 50 years in prison.
