OPINION: Parents need to stop using their children for political purposes with library story times
You’d be hard-pressed to find a single child without being influenced by an adult that says, “Mommy I want to go to the library and have a drag queen read to me.” or “I want the Bible read to me at the library.” Kids would much rather play sports, video games, or spend time on their phones. Instead, parents, teachers, and other adults are influencing kids into being political pawns.
Over the past few years, Drag Queen story-time at libraries in Massachusetts and across the country has been held and parents drag their kids to the events to show how accepting they are. Ironically many of these parents are now complaining that other adults may drag their kids to a Pastor Story Hour tomorrow at the Fall River Public Library at the same time a Drag Queen Story Hour occurs.
I’m not opposed to story-time events for children at a library, but parents need to stop making it about themselves and their politics. Hold events that kids want to and ask to go to, not the ones that satisfy your political needs.

Another anonymous post from who knows what group. I hope the publisher realizes these posts are as good as his OWN editorials and thus carry the same legal liability.

I’m not sure what “legal liability” this milquetoast editorial, which seems pretty logical to me, would have.
Not using children as political pawns seems like a good idea, no matter what side of the issue you’re on.
The disturbing thing to me is the people suffering from gender dysphoria seem determined to be around children. You don’t see the Flat Earth, 9/11 conspiracists, and the like holding children’s story hour.

A normal adult would have to lack even a minimal amount of ‘wisdom’ to not understand what the ‘drag queen’ presentation in front of small children is really about.
Have not you learned at this point in your adult that ‘there are two reasons for everything’ a ‘good’ reason and the real reason ? Teaching children tolerance for those who are different… aw, so noble ,, lets go to see emotionally disordered men dressed up as women. But what of the real reason ? You can’t reach that reason with your limited wisdom. It’s not about ‘politics’ is about spiritual warfare. But you say that’s silly, there are no supernatural forces of light and dark and certainly not personalized individual forces of light and dark that act in discernable and defined ways by influencing the free-will (souls) of human beings. You reject the spirit of Light every time you mock the existence of a living God … so then seek the DARK force .. ask him for something dear to you …ask him to give you comfort and pleasure … ask him for a healing .. ask him to show himself to you one night …. he will give you many things. If so, you will understand the reality of the spirit world and, consequently, what force is behind Drag Queenism. Then, since you asked to partake of the tree of Good and Evil … requested him to give you real spiritual knowledge … you will pay the price.
