One transported to trauma center by medflight after serious rollover collision on Route 6

Police are currently investigating a serious rollover collision that occurred Sunday evening on Route 6.
According to the Provincetown Fire Department, the crash occurred on Route 6 outbound at the sand dunes near the town line just after 7:30 p.m.
One person sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cape Cod Regional Technical High School Landing Zone in Harwich to meet a Boston MedFlight helicopter for further treatment at an off-Cape trauma center.
As a result, Route 6 from Snail Road heading out of town was closed to Stotts Crossing for some time while the vehicle was removed.
Several witnesses informed officers that speed was a factor in the collision, however, the crash is still under investigation.
