One transported to trauma center after morning rollover crash on Route 24
Crews responded Saturday morning to a single vehicle crash on a local highway.
According to scanner transmissions, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Berkley Fire and Rescue responded to a motor vehicle rollover accident with entrapment on Route 24 South near mile marker 14 in between exits 13 and 16.
One person was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford after extrication.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and the condition of the driver was not immediately known.
