Authorities release victim’s name in fatal Route 24 crash
The victim’s name has been released in a fatal Wednesday afternoon crash on Route 24.
According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Troopers assigned to State Police-Milton responded to reports of a vehicle that went off the road on Route 24 northbound prior to Exit 21 in Randolph. The crash resulted in the fatality of the operator.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2008 Infiniti G35 was traveling on Route 24 northbound prior to Exit 21 when it changed from the left lane to the middle lanes at a high rate of speed. The Infiniti lost control and went off the roadway and rolled over into a tree. The operator and sole occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Isbraham Rosa, 20, of Boston.
The crash remains under investigation by Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis, Reconstruction Section and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the H Troop Detective Unit.
Troopers were assisted by MassDOT, Randolph Fire and EMS, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The right travel lane was closed for 3 ½ hours while the investigation was being conducted.
