Officials announce name of deceased victim of multi-vehicle crash on Route 140
Officials have released the name of the deceased victim in a multi-vehicle crash that took place Saturday evening on Route 140.
According to David Traub of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, the fatal crash occurred before 6:00 p.m. in the area of 192 Main Street.
The crash remains under investigation, but preliminary information indication that a Toyota Corolla traveling Northbound crossed the center line and struck a Hyundai Santa Fe. The drive of the Santa Fe was wearing a seatbelt and did not require transport from the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, 88-year-old Olga Perry of Foxborough, was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. She was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital but did not survive. It has not been determined at this time whether she experienced a medical event prior to the collision.
The matter remains under investigation by the Foxborough and Massachusetts State Police working with the Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit of the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
