

Authorities have released more details after a fatal officer involved shooting on Saturday.
According to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, at 12:33 a.m., the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting a man possibly armed outside of a bar at 37 Monk Street in Stoughton.
It was reported that the man entered a black Mazda CX-5 and attempted to strike numerous pedestrians while operating the vehicle in the area.
Police responded to the area of Monk Street and encountered the man, who was ultimately shot by police during the encounter.
Officers immediately administered first aid to the subject prior to him being transported to an area hospital.
The subject was identified as 32 year old Salaheddine Yagoub, no known address.
The incident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office. There is no ongoing threat to the public, according to the DA’s Office.
