No NYE Celebration this year for Fall River

Published

on

The Coogan administration says it does not have an event planned for the city to celebrate New Year’s Eve this year.

Special Projects and Media Coordinator Olivia Peixoto instead suggested residents visit vivafallriver.com for a list of events being hosted by private entities around the city.

In previous years, the city has had First Night celebrations and has also hosted firework displays for city residents.

This year, the City of New Bedford will celebrate the end of 2023 with the first ever LED drone display. The drones will be part of the city events taking place in downtown New Bedford this Sunday.

Go to bed early. Wake up early. Do something constructive New Year’s Day. Carry this momentum throughout 2024. Make America Great Again.
