No foul play suspected after 34-year-old found dead at Fall River waterfront
Authorities have released more details concerning a dead body that was found in Fall River on Monday.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 6:44 a.m., a citizen walking along the waterfront called police to report the presence of a body in the Taunton River in the area of Remington Avenue.
Fall River Police responded and found an unidentified deceased individual floating in the water.
According to Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, no foul play is suspected.
The deceased is a 34-year-old man with no known address, but with ties to New Bedford and Brockton.
