A new restaurant has opened in Tiverton at a familiar location but will have a unique feel for the Fall River area.

Pine House Kitchen & Bar opened Friday at the former Wally’s Tap House at 13 Crandall Road, however, Pine House plans on making its own path.

According to owner and Dartmouth native Jared Machado, when he got the keys to the property on January 9th, he went straight to work cleaning and going right through the whole property with a brand-new kitchen floor, appliances, and art.

Machado announced Friday that Pine House has opened with a reduced menu for the time being.

“We’re dishing out delicious burgers on our in-house baked buns, accompanied by appetizers, wings, spring cocktails, and a selection of beers, all available from 11-9. We’re currently operating with a reduced menu as our team builds their chemistry, but our full menu is coming soon! Come by and say hello—we’re looking forward to meeting everyone!”

In describing the eatery, Machado gave me the sense that Pine House will be a warm, inviting place that makes you feel like you are in a rural cabin eating good quality food with an array of choices and comfort foods to choose from once fully operational.

“Everything is going to be made from scratch. Fresh pizza dough, desserts, bread, and cakes.”

Machado stated that Pine House will be the type of spot to bring your family, but also meet with friends.

13 Crandall Road features black and white decor with some dark green to go along with pine trees. Artwork to give you that cabin feel. The structure has a cabin-style after all.
