New restaurant, function hall opening in Fall River
La Conquista Restaurant is slated to be in business at 299 South Main St in Fall River.
The establishment is expected to be open mainly for functions due to its size, but will also be run as a restaurant. La Conquista will be serving traditional American and Portuguese dishes.
The restaurant is expected to have a capacity of 600 people with on street parking and a parking garage, behind the building, on Pearl Street.
They plan to be open Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Owner Nuno DoSoto is expected to make many of the updates himself.
La Conquista was granted a new All Alcohol Common Victuallers License at the Fall River Licensing Board Meeting on Monday.
An opening date has not currently been set.
