New Fall River restaurant, with multiple dining experiences, opening next month, begins hiring
A new establishment is opening soon in Fall River that will consist of multiple dining experiences all in one location. They are also currently hiring.
37 Purchase Street will be the home of Townehouse, according to RLJ Group. The group, consists of Rosa Fernandes, Jenny Fernandes, and Luis Bettencourt.
The three principal owners have experience in the field, working at the former Cinderella Restaurant and current BarCa Restaurant on Columbia Street.
The 8,000 square foot building will feature Douro Steakhouse, Townehouse Tapas & Oyster Bar, Vinhoteca Wine Bar, and the X Cafe. Townehouse will consist of 4 bars, 3 dining rooms, and a function hall in the double decker complex.
Each section will have its own menu and hour of operations and will be interconnected rooms.
Townehouse Tapas & Oyster Bar will have an extensive menu and a casual atmosphere which will also contain the largest bar on the premises.
X Cafe will offer all day dining and beverage options including coffees, sandwiches, and desserts.
Douro Steakhouse will feature both Portuguese and American style steaks and a bar with an all glass wine cellar.
Upstairs from the Douro Steakhouse will be the Vinhoteca Wine Bar. The lounge will feature cocktails and a various assortment of wines.
The group was in front of the Licensing Board in early 2019 which unanimously granted Townehouse an all alcohol common victuallers license subject to a passed inspection.
In that meeting, it was stated that the complex is expected to hold approximately 150 occupants, employ 10-15 people, and have 20+ spots of off street parking.
Townehouse is looking to hire bartenders, hosts, waiters/waitresses, a barista, and kitchen staff for their July opening. Some experience is preferred and training will be provided. You can send your resume and which position you are interested in to info@townehousefallriver.com
