New Fall River restaurant to bring dining and unique décor to city
A new Fall River restaurant is scheduled to open up in the city.
RCSI Hospitality LLC has filed an application to obtain a New All Alcohol Common Victuallers License for Pavo Restaurant & Bar.
The property itself, located at 10 Purchase Street, is 1,100 sq feet total and 550 per floor. The first floor consists of 1 room and bathrooms with an entrance on the ground level. The basement consists of 3 rooms (storage, bathroom, and entrance).
According to President of RCSI, Joseph Holdiman, the interior of the restaurant will be a re-creation of the artwork of James McNeill Whistler’s Peacock Room located in the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington, DC which is a Japanese style décor.
Pavo will feature Spanish small bites/tapas dining and a raw bar. Alcoholic beverages of cocktails, beer, and wine will also be available.
Due to some additional updates, the location is expected to open in June of 2020.
Holdiman and his business partner also run Thyme Blossom which is next door. Holdiman stated that Pavo will have food of the same quality.
A Fall River Licensing Board hearing will be held on the license request on Wednesday, October 16, at 5:30 P.M. in the first-floor hearing room of One Government Center.
