New Fall River restaurant set to replace former pizzeria
The owner of a former pizzeria in Fall River is set to open a new restaurant in its place.
Luis Teixeira, the owner of the former Vazoni’s Pizzeira at 144 Rodman Street, will soon be opening another restaurant at the same location with co-owner Alfredo Zamora.
Churrascaria Aveirense Restaurant will be the second location for Luis and Freddie as both currently own a location in New Bedford. Both locations will be very similar. The Rodman Street location, however, will not feature a bar. The restaurant is in the process of attempting to get beer and wine approved.
Pending approval at Wednesday’s Licensing Board Meeting, the restaurant plans to open July 26th and be open seven days a week as is their current location.
Churrascaria Aveirense specializes in Portuguese food serving various dishes. The location will have dine in, take out, and delivery.
