Why? Did his girlfriend took the first Plane Out, Back to New Bedford. My Neighbor worked with Mr. Tavares and Him and Co-workers are Wondering if the girlfriend knows more than what she said.I was told Mr.Tavares girlfriend was very Abusive to him. This matter looks very Suspicious. He’s a Native of the Island, He must’ve known his rivers. Looks Nefarious! Please Investigate this matter

It’s sad that rather then allowing the families to mourn, you are trying to push a negative narrative. Everyone has their difference in opinions in their relationships. If they were so unhappy how you are making it seem, then why were they on a vacation together? Rather then being so intrusive into someone else’s lives, allow the police to do their job and investigate on their own. We need to do better as a society. I hope God blesses you.

It’s an ignorant, racist comment. It’s what some call white people and refers back to the days when this country allowed slavery to exist. The guy who would oversee the slaves would crack a whip at the slaves, this the word cracker. Nobody should be using that word any more than they should be using any other racist terminology.

Why do people always have to be so rude. That’s part of the problem in our country! Nastiness and hate are destroying us. So be angry but no need for nastiness!

Lourdes I’m with you. This is a suspicious death. And it should be investigated thoroughly. You are absolutely correct, the girlfriend will and should be the first suspect. This is not an opinion. That’s how it should go if someone is on vacation an dies.

Just read the news. There is Google. Nowadays we used for Stupid shit stuff so used it to get the what’s going on the world before jumping into conclusions. Siempre habla que menos puede. Always speak the one. Stupid dumb ignore people. Ignorance at its finest!

This is a sad case. Like any other death it must be investigated.

  3. You’re a liar.

    May 11, 2024 at 9:53 am

First off weirdo. She was not abusive to him. And granted she has told the story exactly how it went. There was 3 … THREE WITNESSES that saw what happened. She was not there when he went under she was looking for the rescue team while he was clinging onto the rock! Mind your business stop spreading false narratives. That’s how unnecessary rumors are made on a sad situation like this. Shame on you and those who are putting out LIES!

First off liar, the girlfriend is still in Puerto Rico way past the date that they were supposed to be back home ! She has cooperated with police officers through out this. There were witnesses ! LET PEOPLE MOURN ! If they were so unhappy and supposedly “abusive” why would Alex go to Puerto Rico with her. You guys are spreading rumors when someone is legit mourning the loss of their partner. You guys are EVIL.
