Names released of teens killed in East Bridgewater crash
The investigation into what caused the fatal crash that killed four young men yesterday in East Bridgewater is ongoing by State Police and East Bridgewater Police, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz and East Bridgewater Police Chief Scott Allen announced.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., a 911 call came in at 558 West Street (Route 106) for a car into a tree. Bridgewater responded and found five victims in the vehicle.
Four victims are confirmed dead. Three were confirmed dead at the scene. Those victims have been identified as Christopher Desir, 17, of Brockton, Eric Sarblah, 17, of Stoughton, and Nick Joyce, 16, of Stoughton. David Bell, 17, of Stoughton was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. One is injured and was transported to Boston Medical Center. His name has not yet been released.
All victims in the crash were students at Stoughton High School and members of the track team. School is still scheduled at the school Monday, but counseling will be available for students, staff, and families for as long as necessary beginning today.
