The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has announced the names of those killed and injured in a two-car motor vehicle crash that occurred early this morning on Route 95 southbound in Attleboro.

Today at about 1:25 a.m., Troopers from the State Police-Foxboro Barracks responded to a serious crash on Route 95 just south of Exit 3 in Attleboro.

On arrival troopers found a 2018 Kia Soul crashed into the rear end of a 2007 Hyundai GST, trapping the backseat passengers in the vehicle. One of those passengers, Maryori Conde, 23, of Los Angeles, was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where she was pronounced deceased.

The operator and sole occupant of the Kia, Sean St. Louis, 28, of Providence, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Preliminary reports from Massachusetts State Police indicate the Kia Soul was traveling at a high rate of speed in the right travel lane. For reasons still under investigation, the operator lost control of the vehicle and rear ended the Hyundai in the middle travel lane.

The Hyundai contained four occupants, three of them, a 23-year-old male from Berwyn, Illinois, a 23-year-old male from Providence, and a 27-year-old male from Daly City, California, were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment of injuries they sustained from the crash. One of those three victims was listed in critical condition late this morning, while the other two were being treated for minor injuries.

Route 95 south was closed for approximately 3 hours and traffic was diverted via Exit 3 with assistance from the Attleboro Police Department.

The facts and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
