Name released after mother and daughter found dead in Shrewsbury
The name of a mother who was found dead along with her daughter has been released.
Joseph D. Early Jr. of the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office announced Saturday afternoon that the woman who died has been identified as Jihyun Lee. Her 12-year-old daughter will not be publicly identified at this time.
Shrewsbury Police responded to a 911 call on Ladyslipper Drive Friday morning at 7:36 a.m. to find the two dead in their home.
According to Early, it was a very difficult scene, especially considering a 12-year-old was involved.
A father and son was home at the time, but they are not considered to be suspects.
