Multiple people taken to the hospital, driver cited, after head-on crash in Fall River
Multiple people were injured, and a driver was cited after a multi-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Fall River.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, just after 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Jefferson Street regarding a head on collision between two vehicles.
Pereira stated that it appears the operator of a Nissan experienced a medical emergency and collided with a Kia which was traveling South on Jefferson Street.
The occupants of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
In addition to Fall River Personnel, a Tiverton ambulance and other mutual aid also responded to the scene.
The operator of the Nissan was cited.
