Multiple people injured and entrapped after head-on crash on Route 6
Police are investigating after a serious head-on crash between two vehicles on Wednesday afternoon on Route 6.
According to a post made by police at approximately 1:30 p.m., an accident on scenic highway in Bourne between the Sagamore and Bourne bridges led to multiple injuries and multiple people trapped in a vehicle.
One lane in each direction was still open at the time of the crash.
The condition of the injured were not released.
At just before 4:00 p.m., Bourne Police updated that the roadway had been reopened and the accident was clear.
