Multi-vehicle highway crash in Portsmouth sends two to the hospital
Crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash this morning in Rhode Island that injured two people.
According to the Portsmouth Fire Department, firefighters were called to the Mount Hope Bridge for a reported 2 car MVA with a vehicle on the guard rail of the bridge.
2 patients were transported to area hospitals and the bridge was closed for approximately 1 hour.
Bristol Fire Department-RI also helped work the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
