Motorcycle rider injured, driver cited, after afternoon collision in Fall River
A collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle led to injuries to the rider Saturday in Fall River.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at just after 2:30 p.m., units responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of 1670 President Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that a Honda Pilot was exiting the shopping plaza as a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling west on President Avenue. The operator of the Honda did not see the motorcycle as it entered the roadway, and the motorcycle struck the driver side of the Honda.
The motorcycle operator was transported to Rhode Island Hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the Honda was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

It’s that time of year again where motorcycles🏍 are goung to be abundant on the roads so please be diligent out there and keep an eye out for them

I watched this unfold , that exit/entrance is a danger to all, you cannot see when you are coming from the rotary onto President ave., as well these motorcyclists use the rotary all summer long as a race track ,they go around and around for hours until the wee hours of the morning at ridiculous speeds, I often hope one or more of them crash and burn ,idiots
