Motorcycle rider in critical condition after wheelie in Providence
A 27-year-old male rider was rushed to the hospital Monday night after he crashed his motorcycle in Providence according to Providence Police.
At 8:00 p.m., the man doing a wheelie on his motorcycle lost control and crashed into a parked car near 552 Branch Ave.
While doing the wheelie, the motorcyclist lost control and crashed his bike into a car parked nearby. It’s unclear if he was wearing a helmet at the time.
He was taken by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital and is in critical condition.
The Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
