More details have been released after alleged conduct from a now former Massachusetts fast food worker.

Court records show that 22-year-old Kaylie Santos, of Southbridge, has been charged in Dudley District Court with Distributing Food with a Harmful Substance on April 9th. Her arraignment is scheduled for June 5th.

In a video that went viral last week, a uniformed McDonald’s employee in Southbridge, allegedly Santos, was seen taking a handful of French fries, putting them in her mouth, and then allegedly taking them out and placing them into a large McDonald’s fry box.

On Sunday, Chief Shane Woodson confirmed to Fall River Reporter that they would be filing charges on Monday via the summons process.

According to Boston 25 News and court documents, Santos was also allegedly caught on camera spitting into the fry container in addition to placing the fries she had put in her mouth into the fry box, and then serving the tainted order through the drive-thru. The customer, a woman from Southbridge who had dated Santos, later ate the fries before learning the truth from the circulating video. Police reports indicate Santos had been harassing her ex and her new partner, and was overheard on the video saying, “When your girlfriend wants French fries today, right…” before the contaminated food was handed over.
