Missing teen with ties to Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts found deceased
A local teen that had gone missing with ties to the area has been found dead.
Middletown Police and family members had stated that 17-year-old Owen Cameron was last seen Saturday at approximately 7:15 p.m. when he left his job at Anthony’s Seafood at 963 Aquidneck Avenue in Middletown.
Middletown, Newport, and Portsmouth Police and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force found Cameron at approximately 11:00 a.m. Wednesday near Newport State Airport partial submerged in a small body of water.
No foul play is currently suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.
