Missing South Coast woman found deceased police say
A missing South Coast woman has been found deceased.
According to a social media post by police on Thursday morning, a missing 80-year-old female left home on upper Main Street in Marion between the hours of 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Her clothing was unknown but possibly in a nightgown or pajamas.
Unfortunately, police announced Thursday afternoon that the missing woman had been located deceased.
No foul play is suspected.
SEMLEC Search & Rescue, Plymouth County K9/BCI, Marion Fire/EMS, Marion Harbormaster & Marion DPW in addition to Marion Police were involved in the search.
Authorities did not release the name of the woman.
