Missing Rhode Island 5-year-old girl found deceased in park
A 5-year-old girl has been found deceased after being reported missing in Rhode Island.
According to multiple media reports, Naomi Thomas was last seen on a ring camera walking away from her family’s home on Babcock Street in Providence at approximately 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Thomas was rescued by police and the Providence Fire Department after being found around 4:30 a.m. Thursday near the swan boats at Roger Williams Park.
Police searched for the missing girl for hours before she was located.
She was transported to Hasbro Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to WJAR10, Thomas had limited language skills.
