A missing Massachusetts woman has been found deceased, according to family and authorities.

The Westborough Police Department in conjunction with the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit had been searching for 27-year-old Olivia Colby. Colby’s phone was last pinged March 14th within a 25-meter radius of her home in Westborough and there were concerns for her well-being.

According to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, Colby was located deceased late Thursday afternoon. Preliminary findings do not suggest anything suspicious about her death. No other details concerning Colby’s death were released.

Family stated that Colby, affectionately known as Livy, was a social media influencer with over 22,000 followers. She had a great love for animals and was known for her warmth and beautiful smile.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at noon, at the funeral Home. Burial in Southborough Rural Cemetery will be private.

The investigation into Colby’s disappearance and death remains ongoing.

Anyone else find it extremely odd that a 27 year-old adult had an all-out search to look for her but never said why? Then, when found dead, there a ZERO details as to where she was found or howe she died but, the authorities did say there was nothing suspicious about her death. WHAT?!? It’s almost as if they knew it was going to happen. This unfortunately happens too many times these day but when it does the media always reports the cause of death and the location of where the person was found. In this case the MSP was telling the public that she was spotted in Maine and also said that she had ties in Lowell, implying she could’ve then headed there. I find everything about this case exceedingly odd. Other media outlets mention that although the death was not suspicious (hinting at suicide) that there is an ongoing investigation. That’s all well and good but if that is the case why not still include the public in the search for information?

You said almost exactly what I was thinking!!! Too many things are left hanging and too many things were said (and not said) that make no sense!
