This is heartbreaking. Autistic children tend to flee given an opportunity and they don’t have a sense of danger and an attraction to water it can be a deadly combination . Very tragic story rest in peace little one.

This is so sad, I have been very upset by this. I don’t understand why parents don’t keep an eye on their children. Also, was there no lock at the pool area so children can’t get in? I know the angels came and brought her to heaven. Rest in peace precious little girl. My condolences to her family for t this tragic accident.

I live in the area of where this child lives. It was my understanding that the parents were not home and the child was in the care of a babysitter. One that probably did bot know the special circumstances, although in my opinion when taking care of a child you don’t even blink. My heart breaks for all involved.

We have an autistic little one in the family and they are very smart children they see when an adults eye turns for one minute and will take advantage of that. I don’t like when I see people say where were the parents it takes a split second and it can happen to anyone any parent any child autistic or not. Fly with the angels 👼🏻
