Mini Food Truck Festival, fireworks, to highlight Fall River 4th of July
On top of the popular fireworks display, there will be an added bonus to 4th of July festivities this year.
According to Special Assistant to the Mayor, Monica Sousa, for the 4th of July, there will be 5 Food trucks down by the Fall River carousel. Mad House Grill, Avo’s Feast, Del’s Lemonade, a classic Ice Cream Truck and a Sausage Truck will be there waiting for patrons. The trucks should be ready to serve by 7:00 p.m.
The fireworks will start at 9:00 p.m. Free viewing is available at Bicentennial Park and Heritage State Park.
You can also purchase tickets at Battleship Cove to see the fireworks right from the deck of the USS Massachusetts BB59. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased from the gift shop at the museum. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. No bags, backpacks, coolers, alcoholic beverages, and other restrictions apply. Visit or contact the museum gift shop to purchase tickets and to get more details. Calls for more information can be made to 508-678-1100 ext 101 or 121.
The City is hoping everyone enjoys the fireworks show and helps keep the parks clean by picking up after themselves. Trash receptacles will be scattered throughout the area.
