Memorial being held at Talbot Field for Fall River drowning victim
A memorial has been scheduled in memory of a former Talbot student who tragically lost his life Tuesday.
The family of Eddiel Benitez will be holding a memorial for the young teen at the Talbot Middle School field at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The public is encouraged to attend. The memorial is to remember Eddiel and help support and lift through prayer and togetherness a mother who lost her son far too soon.
The family will also be at Stop and Shop on Plymouth Avenue/Rodman Street in Fall River at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday morning collecting money for his burial.
Eddiel, who was headed to Durfee this coming school year, died in a drowning accident near Meditech in the South Watuppa Pond Tuesday.
