Mayor Correia recall petition fails to be certified in recent attempt
The mayoral recall movement in Fall River has had their petition certification fail in their most recent attempt.
According to the Fall River City Clerk and Elections Office, the petition could not be certified for the new attempt. It was at least their 3rd effort. The petition was rejected due to the incorrect address of some of the 10 citizens.
The petition was rejected previously due to proper language that wasn’t included.
If the petition receives certification, the recall group will have 20 days to obtain signatures from five percent of the city’s registered voters.
A recall election will occur if the correct amount of signatures are received and certified and the Mayor does not resign from office in 5 days from the certification.

How difficult is it to read and follow instructions? You guys want to be taken seriously, yet you can’t figure out how to effectively start the recall process???? The TUIFR group didn’t seem to have an issue maybe you guys should reach out to them.
