Mayor Correia challenging recall signatures

Mayor Correia is challenging the recall signatures on two fronts.

He made this statement on his Facebook page this afternoon along with a file of the certified signatures:

“Citizens of Fall River I am asking for your assistance.”

“Attached is the link of recall signatures as recorded on the recall petition currently available as a public record at the City Hall Clerks Office. Use of this link is expressly intended only to provide you with the opportunity to review the list and inbox and contact me by return email if YOUR name appears on this list and you did not sign the recall petition. This list should not be used for any other purpose and you should not contact any other person whose name appears on the list. Thank you very much for your continued support!”

The mayor also filed an objection this afternoon to the recall signatures/petitions.
