After less than six months on the job, a City of Fall River official has resigned her post this week.
Sara Lapointe, who performed media relations for Mayor Coogan, has officially resigned her position this week. This was confirmed by Mayor Coogan Saturday afternoon. Coogan stated that Lapointe accepted an offer to work for radio station WSAR.

Elaina Pevide has filled in for Lapointe and is considered a favorite to take over the position.
