Massachusetts woman’s $4 million scratch ticket win one of many in the last 2 weeks

I am starting to think a lot of people in Massachusetts received scratch tickets for Christmas presents as we have already seen more than a handful of big winners since the holiday.

Amanda Demontigny of Hanover is the winner of a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Money” $10 instant ticket game.

Demontigny chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). 

Her winning ticket was purchased at Richdale Food Shops, 181 South St. in Hingham. The store receives a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
