Massachusetts woman with 39 priors released on personal recognizance

On December 3, 2018 a Knock and Announce search warrant was obtained from First District Court of Barnstable authorizing the search of 8A Rosemary Lane, West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The search warrant authorized officers to search for Cocaine, a Class B controlled substance and evidence related to the distribution of Cocaine.

The search warrant also authorized the search of Kelley Keith, 38, and any persons present in the location to be searched.

On December 4, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Yarmouth Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit Detective Scott Lundegren, along with other members of the Yarmouth Police Department, executed the search warrant at 8A Rosemary Lane, West Yarmouth, Massachusetts.

During the search, officers recovered several knotted plastic baggies containing a white compressed powder, believed to be crack cocaine, from Keith along with packaging materials, cell phones, and US currency.

The following is a partial list of the items seized during the search:
• Crack cocaine in numerous knotted bags
• US Currency
• Plastic sandwich baggies
• (5) Cell phones
• Suboxone Oral Film

Keith, with 39 prior charges in Massachusetts, was transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters where she were booked, processed, and released on Personal Recognizance by the Bail Commissioner upon paying the $40 bail commission fee. Her charges include Possess to Distribute Class B substance and Possession of Class B Substance.

Keith was arraigned in the Barnstable District Court on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 and released on personal recognizance and is back in the community awaiting her next court date.
