Massachusetts woman plans on spending money on her kids after hitting $1 million on scratch ticket
A Massachusetts woman plans on doing what mothers do after hitting it big on a scratch ticket. Spending money on her kids.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Ana Garrant has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Brilliant Titanium” instant ticket game.
Garrant, who is from Wilmington, chose the annuity option on her prize and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes). She plans to use her winnings to pay for her kids’ education.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Sunrise Market, 327 Main St. in Wilmington. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
