Massachusetts woman makes plans after hitting $1 million on State Lottery instant game

A Massachusetts woman has decided how she will spend the big money she just won on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Angela Hazen of Berkley has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” $50 instant ticket game.

Hazen opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She said she plans to put the winnings towards investments and home repairs. 

She purchased her winning ticket at Berkley Farms Liquor, 539 Berkley St. in Berkley. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
