Massachusetts woman killed in highway crash being remembered as authorities continue search for vehicle

Services have been announced for a Massachusetts woman killed in a highway crash as authorities continue to search for a vehicle that was in the area of the collision.

According to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan and the Massachusetts State Police, 34-year-old Kayla E. Driscoll of Somerville was driving a 2015 Nissan Rogue sport utility vehicle northbound on Route 93 in Stoneham Wednesday when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle rolled over at approximately 8:40 a.m.

Driscoll was determined to be deceased on scene.

The State Police are seeking to identify another vehicle that was in the area at the time of the crash, which is believed to be a dark-colored small SUV similar to a Subaru Crosstrek or a Nissan Rogue. That vehicle was being operated erratically and at a high rate of speed on Route 93 north in Medford and Stoneham between 8:25 and 8:40 a.m.

Driscoll is being remembered as a bubbly, happy, woman who was a free, fun, and kind spirit. Someone who was always there for her friends and family.

Visiting hours for Driscoll will be held this Tuesday from 4-8pm at Doherty’s Funeral Home in Somerville. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at St Catherine’s in Somerville at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
