A Massachusetts woman is accused of walking off with a truck full of Amazon packages instead of delivering them.

On Wednesday, Detectives from the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested 23-year-old Rebecca Daigle, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and charged her with Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

According to Nashua Police, on September 30, members of the Uniform Field Operations Bureau responded to a theft call at the Amazon distribution facility. It was reported to officers that on August 29, Rebecca Daigle, an Amazon Flex driver, picked up a load of packages and failed to deliver them to their various destinations in Massachusetts.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and issued an arrest warrant for Daigle.

Daigle was charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Class B Felony. A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison, exclusive of fines.

Daigle was released on Personal Recognizance bail with an arraignment date of January 12, 2023.
